Delivering his second Friday prayers sermon here at Tehran University campus, Ayatollah Jannati praised President Ahmadinejad for his courageous and brave stances against enemy, saying that's just an instance of Islamic Republic's confrontation against enemy. 'It contained an anti-Israeli, anti-American and pro-Palestine message, he added.
Also hailing the Lebanese nation's 'unprecedented' welcome to President Ahmadinejad, Ayatollah Jannati said one of the blessings of the visit was that it united all ethnic groups, including Shiites, Sunnis, druses, and Christians, in Lebanon.
He said presence of the Iranian president in a country bordering Palestine relayed the message that the Islamic Republic of Iran and Lebanon always support the Palestinian people.
He said Iran is the only country that unsparingly supports the Palestinian nation.
The Ayatollah also thanked Secretary General of Lebanese Hizbollah Seyed Hassan Nasrallah for warmly welcoming the Iranian president during his Lebanon visit.
Elsewhere in his address, Ayatollah Jannati touched on Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei's visit to Qum on Tuesday this week, saying that the visit will have everlasting results.
